You know the moment: You’re lying in bed, trying to fall asleep.
You’re exhausted, but you’re not sleepy. You’re remembering everything on your to-do list that you didn’t get to today, and running through your schedule for tomorrow.
You roll over and try to shut off the stream of thoughts. But often times, the dialogue continues, or gets louder.
On nights like this, you struggle to sleep and wake up the next morning feel groggy, unrested, and stressed about the day.
Today’s Pause is a breath technique that helps to soothe the body into relaxation while centering the mind with a simple task. It’s an alternating breath: one long breath, one short breath.
Centering breath comes from my beloved teacher, Judith Lasater, who I had the pleasure of studying with at the Kripalu Institute.
And centering breath is just one of the powerful breathwork techniques I’ll teach in Bedtime Bliss. This virtual workshop (happening February 18) will teach you three yoga practices that support deep relaxation and healthy sleep.
This is for you if:
Stress or anxiety interferes with your sleep cycle
You’d like to learn how to create a simple bedtime routine
You’re ready to restore your sleep cycle and claim all the benefits1
You’ll walk away from this workshop with a new set of tools to support evening relaxation and healthy sleep, and a clear vision for a simple, delightful bedtime routine.
I’ll deliver the workshop on February 18, 8:30-10pm, and it’s a powerful chance to learn and practice live. But if you can’t make it, you can still benefit. Everyone who buys a ticket will get access to the recordings for one year.
